STOLEN VALOR

A shopper in my store (Aircorpcamo Tactical LLC) asked me recently about stolen valor and if it is alright to wear military clothing. I basically told them stores like mine would not be open if it were true about wearing military clothing. This is my understanding of the law, and I served in the USAF Security Forces for over 30 years; Stolen valor has nothing to do with what you wear, it only applies if you never served in the military and claim that you did serve, That is stolen valor, and it is a felony charge. My suggestion is that if you do claim to be a veteran, be ready to prove it!
